Well, i'm Alyssa, I love reading, writing, old movies, and photography. I am taking 16college hours this semester, have plans of becoming an English teacher, and have worked at Plain & Fancy for going on 4 years now. I participate in BPA, I went to nationals last year with it, i generally hate not having anything to do. I tend to be outspoken and easily excitable. I have a 6year old brother, he adores video games, watching movies, and playing with his friends. He is the light of my world. Newspaper is so important to me because i enjoy writing, but even more so because the previous teacher wouldn't take me, not even on recommendations.

No, i'm kidding. I think it is an important part of the high school experience to be part of so many things. It speaks to the nature of your character. You'll soon find that students of your magnitude are rare indeed in any public high school.

Alyssa, take pictures like crazy everywhere you go in case i forget to assign someone (which will happen). Let's begin a picture archive we can pull from.

okay so here is what i have so far:

Celebration is an event looked upon with great anticipation by seniors, but this year many are a bit concerned. This year the event could potentially be moved out of Sulphur Springs and into the Metroplex.

and i went through all the different synonyms for concerned, it was originally apprehensive....
